Southern Mustang & Ford Spares,
some accolades from our customers.
We're really lucky here at Southern Mustang and Ford because we get to meet lots of lovely people and see some really gorgeous cars. The cars may not start out that way but with all the hard work their owners put into them they certainly turn out that way.
Here's some notes from some of the great people we get to deal with during our working day.

Hi Guys,
A big thank you for all your help and expertise given over the 5 months during the resto of our '65 and also for the wonderful supply of parts.
Here are some photos from the recent Nelson Performance and Muscle Car Show where we were shocked but really pleased to be awarded the prize for 'Top American Car'. Makes all the hard work and late nights in the garage all worth it!!

Just a note to thank you
Hi Annie
Just a note to thank you for all the parts we got through your company; which I used in rebuilding my 1964 half-convertible Mustang.
We did a two year frame off bare metal restomod adding the Shelby stripes and the 15 inch Craiger alloys.
This is the first restoration I have ever done and I must say all the parts I got fitted no problem at all and have helped us in winning third place in the Auckland Mustang Club team event Concours De elegance 2005.
This was a major surprise for me as I have never been in a car show [ignorance is truly bliss isn't it?] and I walked away with third at the team event.
So once again thank you for all the advice and parts that actually fit.
And I am looking forward to finishing my 65 fastback and my future dealings with Southern Mustang.
Yours truly,

Another thank you for the team
Hi Annie,
Just a quick note to say thank you to the team at Southern Mustang.
I have just completed the restoration of my 1967 Mustang. The car was striped back to bare metal before it was repainted in Titanium Silver, the suspension, floorpan and interior have also been rebuilt.
The parts supplied by Southern Mustang during the restoration were of a very high quality, fitted perfectly and arrived on time. And I must say the service was excellent.
So thank you for the great parts at a reasonable price and the amazing service.
Regards

67 ENVY
As a little girl, I have always dreamed of owning a pony.
We sourced the 67 off the NZ Mustang website, she hails from Oakland, California and arrived in NZ, October 2004.
Due to compliance regulations our Mustang was not to be the driving project we originally envisioned. So off the road she came.
We replaced body parts & panels, which were beyond resurrection. Many of which we sourced through Southern Mustang, and our association with Wayne & Annie began.
My husband threw himself into this rebuild with a vengeance, he put many hours of hard work into the '67 and came out the other end of it a different man. I'm still trying to figure out who he is. In fact I believe he lost a part of himself to the '67.
Anyway 15 months later, the hard work and heartache was over! The '67 was deemed fit to run on NZ roads.
I'd like to quickly acknowledge a few key people who were very influential in her rebuild. Wayne & Annie of Southern Mustang, My 2 brother in laws of Trevor Robson signs, Kerry & Darrel, Kerry's wife Jo, Chris & Claire of Rotorua Auto Restorations, Bill & Cindy of Brinsden Automatics/Kool Stuff, Paul and Ramari of Paul Yerox Upholsterers and finally my husband Shane. Thank you all so much for the hard work, advice, help, support, and encouragement during the rebuild.
It is because of you, I now have a beautiful new pony, she's my '67 ENVY and I'm finally living my dream!
Thanks to their knowledge & experience with Mustangs, replacing correct parts was no chore at all. Apart from their professional service, the encouragement, advice and support all came at no extra cost. In my opinion this is what counts when the choice of where going to spend the mighty dollar matters. My husband Shane and I would recommend Wayne & Annie when sourcing quality new & used parts for your Mustang.
